Final Canvas Project

 


After 5 days and almost 1000 lines of code, this is how my final canvas project turned out! I am extremely happy with the outcome. At the start of this class I didn't think I would be able to even make this on my own. I was pretty intimidated by Dreamweaver since I had never used anything like it before. However, I eventually got the hang of it and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be!

BW to Color

  For this project, I decided I wanted to do three color palettes that were pretty different from each other. For the first one, I wanted to recreate the original as closely as I could. For the second, I went completely alien green and transformed myself into something out of this world! For the last one, I went with a really neutral palette of browns and pinks, which turned out better than I expected. Overall, I am very happy with how all of these turned out and this earned me my very first entry into the Hall of Fame!

Letter to my Future Self

  Dear Future Emily,        I’m sure you will see as this letter continues that I’m not all that great at writing about myself, but I know you will put up with it because well…you have too. Where do I begin, well I’m currently writing this in 2020 which has been, as you know, complete shit. It’s been tough recently, you lost your grandfather, you are stuck inside your room with barely any contact with the outside and you’re depressed as all hell. Don’t worry, some good things have happened though. You’re doing well in your classes, you are continuing to write (although not as much as you would like), and you have some pretty awesome roommates to be stuck with during this all.
